Case 1: Forest and Grassland Fire Prevention Monitoring
In our monitoring projects in Ganzi, Sichuan and Laibin, Guangxi, we typically adopt the optimal resource allocation measures based on the local power supply system. In the following projects, we all use wind-solar hybrid systems to power the equipment, adapting to local conditions to provide fire prevention and early warning monitoring for forestry and grassland resources in remote areas, thus protecting the local ecological environment.
In the forest and grassland fire monitoring project in Ya'an, Sichuan, the wildfire spread extremely rapidly that day, with dense smoke appearing in the visible light images, making it difficult to determine the specific fire hazard. The thermal imaging clearly showed a vertical fire spread zone. Based on the real-time video, staff quickly organized emergency response. Through the combined efforts of many parties, the fire was successfully extinguished. Traditional visible light-based smoke and fire identification algorithms are easily affected by chimneys, natural clouds, etc., and are prone to false alarms. The HSD-INV system, with its intelligent thermal imaging algorithm at its core, penetrates smoke to directly detect heat sources, exhibiting strong environmental adaptability and a very low false alarm rate in fire detection.
For example, the Qingming Festival is a high-risk period for forest fires, and the situation for fire prevention is severe. In the monitoring project of Laibin Forest Farm in Guangxi, the HSD-INV system accurately identified surface fires in dense forests in the early stages of wildfires, and promptly reported and dealt with them, truly achieving the requirements of "early detection and early extinguishing" in forest fire prevention.
